Comprehensive Care, Close to Home.
The Dignity Health Infusion Center at CBCC is where patients come to receive a variety of services including chemotherapy, intravenous medications, blood transfusions, and hydration. Our specialized team is equipped to administer a wide range of infusion-based therapies well beyond those specific to cancer.
Infusion therapy may be needed when your condition cannot be treated effectively by pills or other oral medications. Most often, the drug is delivered directly into the veins by IV, but infusion therapy may also refer to situations in which medications are provided through intramuscular injections or epidural routes.
Conveniently located inside CBCC, the Dignity Health Infusion Center promises expert care in a comfortable, friendly setting.
Infusion Treatments Include:
- General IV fluids
- Non-chemo injections and vaccinations
- PICC and Port-a-cath care, blood draws, and irrigation
- Transfusion of red blood cells and platelets
- Medications to prevent side effects
