Dr. Stuti Tambar completed her medical degree at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Science University at Buffalo, New York, and her residency at the State University of New York in Buffalo.
In addition to her studies for improving women’s health, Dr. Tambar went on to complete a fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Tambar has received various awards including the Fundamental of Laparoscopic Surgery. This award is achieved by obtaining the highest score in cognitive and manual skills among all 3rd and 4th-year residents.
Dr. Tambar is known at the Comprehensive Blood & Cancer Center for using innovative techniques to bring the latest technology and treatment options to patients such as nipple-sparing mastectomy, oncoplastic resection, and intraoperative radiation therapy.
