After graduating from Stanford University, Dr. Wilber Montana completed his residency at Hackensack University Medical Center at Palisades North Bergen after earning his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Oncology fellowship at Oklahoma State University Health and Science Center, where he worked at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While working at the Cancer Treatment Center of America he was a part of multiple committees including the Cancer Committee, Joint Commission Lung Cancer Committee, and Enterprise Breast Center Institute Tumor Board Committee.
Dr. Montana’s experience in team-approach care has been a great addition to the Comprehensive Blood & Cancer Center oncology team. He is fluent in four languages: Spanish, Filipino, English, and Italian. Dr. Montana is published in leading peer-reviewed journals, and is also a member of professional organizations including the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Osteopathic Association, and American Medical Association.
