I wouldn’t wish cancer on anybody, but if you have to go through it, CBCC is the place to go.
Those nurses are just the sweetest things. They are so knowledgeable and wonderful to be around. I decided to volunteer at CBCC to pay it back and visit them.
When Clara Boyd learned of the tumor in her liver, it had already progressed stage four. It was a scary ordeal for her. She didn’t know what to expect after being referred to CBCC. With each visit, as she spent time in the facility, she got to know the patient care at CBCC, and ultimately felt more and more at ease.
Getting Through Treatment
Clara underwent a smooth 14 months of chemo therapy at CBCC. With the support of nurses and clinicians, Clara was able to get over her fears and calmly overcome the daunting concerns of cancer.
“Everyone is down-to-earth, they make you feel so comfortable.”
Coming Back to Life
Clara is thankful for the care and understanding offered at CBCC. She is now on her third year of being cancer free, feeling back to herself, happy and healthy and full of gratitude that everything worked out for the best. Whenever she can, she volunteers at CBCC, to pay it back and visit those who helped her heal.
